I run a site called Free Fiddle Lessons where I create and post YouTube video lessons, recordings, sheet music, fingering charts, exercises, and other learning materials. I hope you find it helpful!

Private & Group Lessons
I tailor lessons to the interests of each particular student or group of students, within my background as a traditional singer and instrumentalist. I emphasize ear training, traditional repertoire, playing technique, and general musicality.

I offer intermediate group lessons in Belfast every other Wednesday 6:30-8 pm. I offer private lessons Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. See my calendar and select “week” view for available times. I am happy to teach one-off or occasional lessons as well and sometimes am able to offer these at other times.

Rates
Private 1/2 hour lesson: $20
Private hour lesson: $40
Some barter arrangements available.
Group lesson pricing by individual arrangement.

FIDDLE
Private and group fiddle lessons, ages 4 and up. Most of my lessons are solely fiddle, but I can incorporate some Suzuki violin methods and repertoire if students wish.

BANJO
Beginner old-time/Appalachian style lessons, ages 10 and up.

Reclaim your VOICE!
If you are looking for classical voice lessons, please try somewhere else. If you would like to get more comfortable in your voice and work on singing in tune, developing a tone you like, or feeling confident singing outside your shower, I’m your girl.
